- Every live measurement record must have an Edit action.
- Measurements may be edited from every project and measurement session.
- Editing shows the current value, unit, status and notes.
- Saving a change requires a reason.
- Preserve old value, new value, notes, status, actor and timestamp.
- Store all changes in append-only measurement revision history.
- Existing Design Forge snapshots remain immutable.
- An edit supersedes the latest snapshot without changing it.
- A new Design Forge snapshot is required after any edit.
- Editing never automatically authorises CAD generation or export.
