# SHiRE Academy Stage 3B — Fast Prompt-to-CadQuery Object Builder

Stage 3B is the accelerated route toward SHiRE creating useful 3D objects by Wednesday.

It deliberately avoids the slow 4B Academy qualification exam for routine object generation. A plain-English request is converted by a deterministic, safety-gated parser into one of four trusted parametric CadQuery templates. CadQuery then builds and validates a real draft object.

## Enabled starter families

- Desk organiser
- Parts tray
- Non-load-bearing mounting block
- Nameplate / plaque

## Real outputs

Each successful user-confirmed job creates:

- `object_draft.step`
- `object_draft.stl`
- `preview.svg`
- `spec.json`
- `validation.json`
- `README.txt`

under:

`/SHiREVault/SHiREAcademy/FastBuilder/<job-id>/`

## Built-in printer profiles

- Bambu Lab P1S — 256 × 256 × 256 mm
- Creality K2 Plus — 350 × 350 × 350 mm
- Snapmaker U1 — 270 × 270 × 270 mm
- Custom build volume

A 5 mm usable-bed margin is enforced. The builder rejects objects that do not fit the selected profile.

## Safety boundary

Stage 3B accepts design descriptions only. It never evaluates user code and exposes no shell, arbitrary-file, certification or Forge-unlock endpoint.

It blocks requests involving weapons, explosives, traps, medical/dental devices, prosthetic-contact geometry, implants, osseointegration, load-bearing parts, pressure vessels, code, URLs, shell commands and arbitrary paths.

Every output is:

- non-load-bearing
- draft only
- not certified
- not Forge-ready
- not approved for production
- subject to Ray's visual and slicer review before printing

## Existing Academy protection

The existing 371-skill Design Academy remains read-only to the new interface. Stage 3B hashes the practice state, autopilot state, commercial sprint state and Academy index before and after installation and before and after every real builder job.

Stage 3B cannot:

- consume a counted practice attempt
- award certification
- change `forge_allowed`
- unlock Forge export
- control another Academy skill
- publish, spend money, contact customers or accept credentials

## Known limitations

- This is a constrained starter builder, not general free-form CAD mastery.
- The preview is schematic rather than photorealistic.
- Requested label wording is stored as metadata; Stage 3B creates a label recess but does not engrave arbitrary fonts.
- Organic forms, articulated characters, scan-derived models and complex assemblies remain future stages.
